SS-31 (Elamipretide) 50mg
Certificate of Analysis
HPLC + Mass Spectrometry included with order
SS-31, also known as Elamipretide (MTP-131, Bendavia), is a mitochondria-targeted tetrapeptide that selectively concentrates in the inner mitochondrial membrane. It interacts with cardiolipin, a phospholipid critical to mitochondrial cristae structure and the efficiency of the electron transport chain.
SS-31 has been the subject of extensive published research and clinical trials examining mitochondrial dysfunction in cardiac, renal, neurological, and skeletal muscle diseases. Its unique mechanism of stabilising cardiolipin improves mitochondrial bioenergetics and reduces reactive oxygen species (ROS) production at the source rather than scavenging free radicals after formation.
Kyrolab stocks SS-31 at the higher 50mg per vial dosage for extended research protocols. This is one of the most promising mitochondria-targeted research compounds currently under active clinical investigation.
